How does equity crowdfunding work?

Equity crowdfunding allows Namibian businesses to raise capital by offering shares to a group of investors online. Businesses are reviewed before they are listed and marketed on Crowd Connect.

Register, complete the required verification, browse available opportunities and read the offer documents. You can then express interest in shares in the companies you support.

Trading shares

What is a secondary market?

Our secondary market is a trading facility where investors can offer shares held in businesses listed on Crowd Connect to other registered investors.

It provides an alternative marketplace for buying and selling these shares. A listing does not guarantee a buyer, a sale price or a return.
